The Human Relations Commission ensures all persons, regardless of actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, enjoy the full benefit of citizenship and are afforded equal opportunities for employment, housing and use of public accommodations.
The Human Relations Commission documents complaints and mediate disputes. Certain expanded duties may be required as authorized by the Board of Supervisors.
The Human Relations Commission includes five members, each appointed by the Board of Supervisors to serve a five-year term.
