26 Feb “No Knock” Registry is open!

On February 18, 2025, the Board of Supervisors signed Ordinance No. 212-2025: No Knock. This ordinance allows the Township to keep a list of addresses of residents that do not want to have solicitations at their home.

Barring political and religious groups, if a business wants to solicit in West Vincent Township, they must apply for a permit to do so. Those business that complete the permitting process receive a permit and badges for the people who will be soliciting. With this ordinance, they will also be given a “No Knock” list of residences that they are NOT allowed to visit.

If you have signed this list and receive a solicitation, please let the police and our office know. Solicitors should be able to produce a badge issued by our permitting department. If they cannot produce such an item, they should not be soliciting and can be fined by the police. If they come to your door, and you have registered for the No Knock List, they can be fined by the police. If you need to report solicitors, you may the call our office Mondays through Fridays from 8:30am to 4:30pm at 610-458-1601. You may call the police after-hours and on weekends at 610-458-3205.
