Birchrun Bridge Replacement Project

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will host a live virtual meeting at 7pm on Wednesday, April 9, to discuss the Birchrun Bridge Replacement Project. This project includes removal of the existing 102-year-old bridge, and the construction of a one-span plank beam bridge.

The existing bridge has been inspected by structural engineers, and is presently listed in poor condition.

All are invited and welcomed to attend this meeting. Simply click this meeting link to join the discussion. PennDOT’s design team will provide a brief project overview, before opening the meeting to questions.

Persons with special needs or requiring special aid to access the meeting may contact PennDOT Design Project Manager Connor Shelly.
