Join West Vincent Environmental Advisory Council member Charlene Briggs for a foraging walk and learn about common backyard “weeds” & their food, medicinal & ecological value. The focus will be on plant identification, foraging basics, tonic wild plant recipes and the importance of wild plants in the landscape.

Certified in Herbal Medicine and Ethical Foraging from the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine and a graduate of Rosemary Gladstar’s herbal practicum, The Science & Art of Herbalism, Charlene shares a lifelong study, relationship and practice with herbs as food and medicine.
