Full-Time Township Manager:
West Vincent Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania is seeking applicants for the position of Township Manager. The position is a full-time senior level non-union management position reporting directly to the three-member Board of Supervisors. The Township Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Township’s day-to-day and long-term operations.
West Vincent Township is just under 18 square miles in area and has a population of approximately 6,700. It has a general fund budget of over $5.1 million ($12 million all funds). West Vincent has been a leader in open space preservation. The Township has a Police force, Public Works department, plus an office staff all totalling 18 full-time employees.
A bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree in public administration and at least five years’ experience in municipal management is preferred.
Salary is commensurate with experience with including a competitive and comprehensive benefit package.

Part-Time Township Treasurer: West Vincent Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania is seeking applicants for the position of Township Treasurer. The position is a part-time, senior level, non-union management position reporting directly to the Township Manager. The Township Treasurer is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Township’s day-to-day and long-term financial operations including, but not limited to, preparation of the township annual budget, debt issuance and related continuing disclosures, establishing and/or maintaining systems and internal controls, financial reporting, forecasting, ensuring regulatory compliance, account reconciliation and payroll.
West Vincent Township is just under 18 square miles in area and has a population of approximately 6,700. It has a general fund budget of over $5.1 million ($12 million all funds). West Vincent has been a leader in open space preservation. The Township has a Police force, Public Works department, plus an office staff all totaling 18 full-time employees.
A bachelor’s degree with major coursework in accounting/finance is required along with extensive experience and proficiency with QuickBooks. A master’s degree, CPA, and/or additional certifications, with at least five years’ experience in municipal financial management is preferred.
