22 Oct Board adopts volunteer tax credits

At its October 20 Meeting the Board of Supervisors approved real estate and earned income tax credits for the men and women who serve as volunteer firefighters and volunteer ambulance personnel in our community. These individuals answer the call for help, day or night… putting themselves in harm’s way to keep our families safe.

Qualified volunteers will receive an up to $250 tax credit to earned income taxes paid to the Township, and a 100% tax credit on real estate taxes paid to the Township. School District real estate taxes and County Real Estate taxes are not affected (yep, we can’t waive these taxes…).
